Evaluation Process
The evaluation process consists of 2 parts: the Ability Challenge and Verification. Once you pass both steps, you can get a live-funded account. There’s also a Funded Trader Program, which you can access at a higher fee without going through an evaluation.
Ability Challenge & Verification
There are two stages: Challenge and Verification. In the first stage, you’re aiming to make a 10% profit, but you can’t lose more than 7.5% in a day. The second part is a bit easier. You have to make 5% profit, but you can only lose 5% max in a day.
If you make it through all that, you get to trade with a live-funded trading account. At first, you keep 75% of what you make. If you do really well and make a 10% profit, you can bump that up to 85%.
The evaluation process has no time limit. You can take as long as you need, which takes the pressure off.
Starting Capital | $10,000 | $15,000 | $30,000 | $60,000 | $120,000 | $240,000 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Profit Target | $1,000 | $1,500 | $3,000 | $6,000 | $12,000 | $24,000 |
Maximum Daily Loss | $750 | $1,125 | $2,250 | $4,500 | $9,000 | $18,000 |
Maximum Loss | $1,500 | $2,250 | $4,500 | $9,000 | $18,000 | $36,000 |
Minimum Trading Days | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 | 4 |
Fee | $129 | $189 | $339 | $459 | $779 | $1,559 |
Discount | Check now | Check now | Check now | Check now | Check now | Check now |
You’ve got to trade for at least four days, but here’s the catch – you need to be consistent. They don’t want you making one big trade one day and then a bunch of tiny ones the next. If you fail to show consistency, you will fail the evaluation test.
Funded Trader Program
If you’re an experienced trader looking to skip the evaluation challenge, Audacity Capital’s Funded Trader Program might be the ideal solution for you. This program is designed for traders with a solid track record of success and at least 3-6 months of live trading experience.
To be eligible, you’ll need to demonstrate consistent profitability and strong risk management skills. You should also have a well-defined trading plan you’ve applied in a live account.
The application process is fairly straightforward. You’ll start by filling out an online application form where you’ll detail your trading history. Next, you’ll be contacted by Audacity Capital for an interview, which can be conducted either in person or over the phone.
Once they’ve reviewed your application and spoken with you, you’ll receive a notification via email regarding their decision.

Challenge Trading Rules
You have to follow certain challenge trading rules to pass the evaluation test. Learn about them here:
- Profit Target
- Profit Split
- Trading Period
- Minimum Trading Days
- Maximum Daily Loss
- Maximum Loss
- Maximum Position Size
- Maximum Capital Allocation and Multiple Accounts
- Trading Types
- Leverage
- Trading Style
- Trading Hours

Profit Target
In the first stage, you need to make a 10% profit. Then, in the verification stage, you need to achieve a 5% profit. If you pass both stages, you will gain access to a funded account. Your profit share of 75% will increase to 85% if you manage to hit the 10% profit target with the live account.
Your goal for the Funded Trader Program is always to make a 10% profit. When you hit this target, you can take out your share of your profits. Also, you level up, meaning the company doubles the size of your trading account.
Profit Split
For the Ability challenge, you get to keep 75% of your profits first. If you make at least 10% profit, you get to keep even more—85% of the profits. If you make at least 2.5% profit each month and have taken some money out at least once, your account can double in size every three months. After your account has doubled in size twice, you can earn up to 90% of the profits you make.
You can earn 50-80% profit share in the Funded Trader Program. If you hit your target fast (within 30 days), you get an extra 10% on top of your normal share. If it takes longer, you just get the regular share.
Trading Period
There is no trading duration; you can trade as long as you don’t achieve the profit target.
Minimum Trading Days
For the Ability challenge, you need to trade on at least four different days. Each day must have at least one open position. The key is consistency – your trades should be similar in size and duration across those days. For example, don’t do one big trade on one day and several tiny trades on other days. This can cause you to fail the challenge.
For the Funded Trader Program, the minimum number of trading days is 5. Of these 5, at least three must be profitable days.
Maximum Daily Loss
The audacity evaluation stage has different loss limits depending on your stage. You can’t lose more than 7.5% in a day during the Ability challenge. For verification and Live Account, the limit drops to 5% per day. The limit is based on your total account balance and includes both completed and ongoing trades. The trading day starts at midnight GMT.
If your losses go over this 5% limit at any point during the day, your account will be automatically closed, and you’ll be removed from the program.
For the Funded Trader Program, you’re not allowed to lose more than 5% of your account’s value in a single day.
Maximum Loss
Max drawdown is the biggest loss you’re allowed to have on your trading account.
You can lose up to 15% of your starting balance for the Ability Challenge. The Verification Challenge and Live account have a stricter limit of 10%.
This limit doesn’t change even if you make profits. For the Funded Trader Program, the maximum drawdown is 10%.
Maximum Position Size
Both programs don’t have any size limitations. However, they advise maintaining consistency as it can affect the trading strategy.
Maximum Capital Allocation and Multiple Accounts
They only allow one account per person to keep things fair for everyone. This way, everyone focuses on their best strategy and has an equal shot at winning. The maximum account size you can reach is $500,000.
Trading Types
You can trade all assets available on your platform, such as forex, gold, and indices.
Leverage
The leverage is 1:30, which gives you enough opportunity to make significant profits.
Trading Style
You can use your own trading strategies, which are great for your creativity and personal style. However, you must follow the program’s risk rules.
Trading Hours
The forex market operates 24 hours a day, five days a week, through four main trading sessions:
- Sydney: 3 PM to 12 AM EST
- Tokyo: 7 PM to 4 AM EST
- London: 3 AM to 11 AM EST
- New York: 8 AM to 5 PM EST
These sessions overlap, creating continuous trading opportunities. The market is most active when multiple sessions are open simultaneously. For example, there’s high activity when London and New York sessions overlap (8 AM to 11 AM EST).
News Trading
You can’t have open trades during major news events like job reports, interest rate decisions, or when central bank leaders speak. The risk management team will email you about these restrictions. After the news, wait 30 minutes before trading again.
Weekend and Overnight Trading
You can keep positions open overnight if you want. However, you usually can’t keep positions open over the weekend for standard accounts. But you can ask for permission to keep a position open. For that, you have to fill out a form by 5 PM GMT on Fridays.
Participants in the Funded Trader program can open weekend positions without asking for permission first.
Expert Advisor
The program allows EAs but with some restrictions. You can’t use them for High-Frequency Trading (very rapid trading), martingale (doubling down on losses), or risky strategies. However, EAs that follow safe trading practices and aim for long-term success are encouraged.
Copy Trading
Copy trading is allowed, but certain restrictions apply. The rules regarding copy trading are a bit vague, and there’s not much information on the website.
Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) are used for trading. They are specialized apps for trading stocks, currencies, and other financial instruments.
MT5 has a WebTerminal version. This means you can trade directly from your web browser on any device with an internet connection, just like accessing a website. There is no need to download anything.
